HOPE Be Restored: "Helping the Oppressed and Prisoners of injustice Escape and Be Restored"
HOPE Be Restored stands for "Helping the Oppressed and Prisoners of injustice Escape and Be Restored". Hope Be Restored seeks to bring freedom for the oppressed and restoration to lives that have been effected by human trafficking in Korea and around the world. We began in January of 2011 as a result of an awakening by God for the Church to rise up in the fight for freedom and justice for the oppressed.
Our Conviction
We believe that God's passion is for justice and righteousness (Psalm 89:14) and that the mission of Jesus was to bring Good News to the poor and to set the prisoners free (Luke 4:18). His mission is now our mission. This is at the heart of what we do and why we do this. We desire to see the Church rise up and take its rightful place on the front lines in this fight for freedom in order to set the captives free.
Our conviction is this: "If we, the Church, are not the preeminent leaders in the fight for justice and in the demonstration of mercy to the weak, then we are allowing the world to look more like Jesus than we do." Pastor Eddie Byun. We are praying that the Church worldwide will rise up and answer the cry of the nations for justice!
