Restore Center (Cebu, Philippines) Update

Update

• December 2018 - Celebrated the graduation of 2 groups (20 girls). Families came to surprise them during this graduation. A local church partner donated groceries and other gifts for all families present to bring home for their Christmas Eve celebration.
• Currently running 2 therapy groups (16 girls ages 13-18) and  13 individual cases.
• We are preparing to start another therapy group still focusing on sexual trauma for ages 9-13 years old due to high need in the community.

Please Pray

• Pray for key potential partnerships to develop with the Dept. of Justice, Dept. of Health and Provincial Women’s Council, and Vice Governor of Cebu (she is a women and children’s advocate)
• Additional staff for growing client referrals
• For protection and courage for the girls and their families as they begin their healing journey
• Restore staff to be protected from discouragement and feelings of helplessness as they hear the horrifying stories of the clients every day.
